Candidate Nomination and Profile

Candidate nomination forms are due in the YMCA Center for Civic Engagement Office by February 11, 2011 to be on the 2012 YMCA Youth in Government Ballot. Nominations will not be accepted after said due date. Candidates must have participated in at least one prior YMCA Youth in Government Conference. These offices will be elected at the 2011 Conference Bnd will serve in the year 2012.

Please take note that all candidate nominations are subject to approval by both the advisors and YMCA Center for Civic Engagement staff. Previous disciplinary issues may prevent you from running for an officer position. Candidates must fulfill the character standards set forth by the YMCA of Middle Tennessee to be eligible to run.

Students must also submit their candidate speeches online
